The Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha reserves the right to extend the Submission Deadline by issuing an Addendum. Description of the Project: Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha is seeking qualified firms to maintenance and repairs boilers according to ASME standards and meet all City of Omaha and State of Nebraska codes. Contractor will supply all necessary and needed labor, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, and material to repair boilers and work must be completed Monday through Friday between the hours of 6am and 6pm. Boiler repairs are as follows and estimated: i. Replace/rebuild (the refractory material in the rear doors) rear doors on boilers 1 and 2 ii. Replace front inner doors on boilers 1 and 2 iii. Replace flame scanners on boiler 1 and 2 iv. Replace igniter rods on both boilers v. Add probe type electronic low water cut off devices and wire on boilers 1 and 2 vi. Add flame failure alarms where they can be heard and seen inside boiler room for both boilers vii. Hydro test both boiler vessels viii. Perform burner analysis on both boilers ix. Brush tubes on both boilers x. Reseal and close both boilers xi. Replace fire brick in fire chamber on Boiler 1 xii. Repair front shelf on Boiler 2. Davis Bacon Act: YES
