Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Brampton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 291,000-square-foot, five-story above grade fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
Peel Regional Police (the Agency) is seeking detailed proposals from qualified firms to provide Construction Management Services for the Sir Robert Peel Centre Redevelopment Project for Peel Regional Police. The Agency is looking to redevelop the Sir Robert Peel Centre located on 7750 Hurontario Street, Brampton, Ontario to better accommodate the services it provides to the Region of Peel residents. In 2017, a Long Term Facility Accommodation Plan (LTP) study was initiated by PRP to analyze the growing needs of the communities it serves and thereby provide a road map to meet its space and facility requirements until 2036. PRP has since undertaken and completed various renovations to its facilities based on the recommendations of the study. The final phases of the LTP study recommends the redevelopment of the Sir Robert Peel Centre and 22 Division, which is the subject of this Request for Proposal (RFP). The combined anticipated construction Cost of Work for both phases has been set to $573.0M ($138.0M and $435.0M for Phase 1 and Phase 2, respectively), exclusive of taxes.
