Renovation of a water / sewer project in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project contemplated herein consists of the Contractor performing repairs to West Plant Secondary Clarifier #2. The time for completion of the Contract shall be one hundred fifty (150) days from the date of Notice to Proceed. A. SCOPE There are eleven (11) final clarifiers in the West Plant of the secondary treatment process located at the Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility. The following specification describes the rebuild of the West Plant Secondary Clarifier #2 turntable. The stop gap minimum clearances have been reached, indicating that a rebuild/replacement of the upper turntables is necessary. Existing Equipment Description The existing clarifier drive for the West Plant Secondary Clarifiers #2 is a H40-LT (CW) 98” Dia. Tow-Bro® model made by Evoqua. A Baldor electric motor serial #VECP3581T with AC power and 1 hp at a max RPM of 1765 are attached to the drives. The drives are a Sew-Eurodrive model R47AM143-KS gear drive with a max RPM of 13 and a ratio of 139.99.
