To be valid, bids must be accompanied by a bid bond in the form of a certified check drawn on a Canadian chartered bank or credit union, or a bid bond issued by an authorized insurance company. to issue bonds, for an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the tender. The guarantee is payable to the Municipality of Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil. The bond must be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of opening of tenders. In addition, the tender must be accompanied by a letter issued by an insurance company guaranteeing the issuance in favor of the Municipality, of a performance bond representing 100% of the cost of the contract, if it is awarded. to the bidder.
