Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Milton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The construction of the 28 x 64 storage building will be pursuant to Timbertech Engineerings design. General contractor shall itemize the three project components in the bid: Precast walls, roof structure with studded walls and flat concrete pad. The price bid shall cover all costs of any nature incident to or growing out of the work of furnishing the required items, including labor, material, equipment, transportation, and all incidental expenses in connection therewith. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal. Bidders shall submit certificate of insurance for 1 million dollars and proof of workers compensation insurance. PA prevailing wage rates must be paid by the contractor and employees shall not be discriminated against because of race, color, age, religion, sex or national origin. Bids may be held by Limestone Township for up to sixty (60) days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. Limestone Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding, to limit the scope of work involved or to negotiate contract amounts.
