Project Category Code: Culverts, Waterways, Stormwater Channels, Excavation, Box Culvert, Drainage Description: Excavation and grading of an existing legal drain, constructing spoil banks adjacent to the drain, salvage and removal of culverts, installation of reinforced concrete box culverts, installation of corrugated steel pipe, roadway replacement, and related items. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project. The Bid security of other Bidders that Owner believes to have a reasonable chance of receiving the award may be retained by Owner until the earlier of 7 days after the Effective Date of the Contract or 90 days after the Bid opening, whereupon Bid security furnished by such Bidders will be released. Bid Bond: 5% Performance Bond: 100% Payment Bond: 100% The Work will be substantially complete on or before July 14, 2023, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before August 11, 2023. Liquidated Damage: Completion of Remaining Work: After Substantial Completion, if Contractor shall neglect, refuse, or fail to complete the remaining Work within the Contract Times(as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) for completion and readiness for final payment, Contractor shall pay Owner $2,300 for each day that expires after such time until the Work is completed and ready for final payment.
