The Project consists of the materials and labor to supply and install 1 new 150KW/187.5KVA, 480/277V, 3 phase, 4 wire standby diesel generator along with generator control panel, generator enclosure, automatic transfer switches concrete generator pad, complete electrical appurtenances, generator start up services, and all additional appurtenances needed for complete generator installation. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If awarded the Contract the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Bonds must be provided by sureties appearing on the U.S. Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing and be licensed in the State of Georgia. All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to the date of the bid opening. Acquisition of property for easements, right of way, etc. is not expected to be required for this project. This project is expected to be funded all or in part by the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority's (GEFA) Drinking Water State Revolving Loan fund. The construction contract will be subject to GEFA's Supplemental General Conditions for Federally Assisted State Revolving Loan Fund Construction Contracts including Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements and Davis Bacon & Related Act requirements. Additionally, the contract will be subject to GEFA's American Iron and Steel Special Conditions and Information for Federally Assisted State Revolving Loan Fund Construction Contracts. The City of Montezuma reserves the right to reject any or all bids including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids; and to make an award in the best interest of the City of Montezuma.
