The fiber optic line will come off the existing 69kV power pole just outside of the Spills Substation fence. The fiber optic line will transition to a new 50' wooden Class 2 "slack" pole near the fenced substation and then go underground again for the last (approximate) 180 feet. The underground duct bank will have two SCH-40 PVC conduits (1 spare) and two 3'x3'x3' pull boxes. The last section of the fiber optic line will leave the last pull box underground to the substation building, then transition through a vertical riser on the substation exterior wall, then penetrate the building and be routed along the ceiling through an existing cable tray. The new fiber optic line will terminate in a new patch panel in the existing communications rack inside the Spills Substation Building. The new fiber optic line will be tested but not placed into service.
