Scope of work includes removal and replacement of the existing road expansion joint all associated expansion joint accessories, removal and replacement of all standard control / fillet joints, removal, and replacement of all sealants at all terminations and penetrations throughout the concrete road and sidewalks within the area of work as indicated on the drawings. 2. Alternate No. 1: a. Scope of work includes removal and replacement of all standard control / fillet joints, removal, and replacement of all sealants at all terminations and penetrations throughout the road and sidewalks within the area of work as indicated on the drawings. 3. Alternate No. 2 a. Scope of work includes removal and replacement of all standard control / fillet joints, removal, and replacement of all sealants at all terminations and penetrations throughout the administrative parking location at concrete sidewalks within the area of work as indicated on the drawings. 4. Alternate No. 3: a. Scope of work includes all requirements as indicated in the Base Bid scope of work with the only change being the material product used for the replacement at the existing road expansion joint. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, a separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
