Site work and new construction of a fitness / recreation center in Dade City, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,500-square-foot fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.
The City of Dade City Public Works Department is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced Design-Builders to provide design, engineering, permitting and construction for the City's Splash Pad located at 37800 Church Avenue, Dade City, FL. This will be a Guaranteed Maximum Price Contract for Design-Build Services not to exceed $850,000 (eight hundred fifty thousand dollars). The purpose of this project is to contract with a Design-Build Team consisting of qualified and experienced members for the design, permitting and construction of an approximately 2,500 square foot (minimum wetted area) splash pad. This site will be home to the City's new park to include an all-inclusive playground and amphitheater, (to be constructed at a later date). The newly constructed Visitors Information Center is located at this park as well. Proposers may submit questions in writing only before 5:00 pm on Monday, January 16th, 2023. The City will not respond to questions submitted after that time. The City of Dade City or the City Commission are not responsible for expenses incurred prior to award.
