The ATHENS COUNTY ENGINEER intends to contract forCONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING/INSPECTION SERVICES in connection with the 2020 Ohio Emergency ManagementAgency (OEMA) disasters. Statements received after thisdeadline will not be considered. Statements of qualifications should include information regardingthe firm's history; education and experience of owners and keytechnical personnel; the technical expertise of the firm's currentstaff; the firm's experience in performing soil borings, geotechnicalengineering, and engineering design; availability of staff; the firm'sequipment and facilities; references; and any previous work performed for The ATHENS COUNTY ENGINEER. As required by Ohio Revised Code 153.65-73, responding firmswill be evaluated and ranked in order of their qualifications. Following this evaluation, the ATHENS COUNTY ENGINEER willenter into contract negotiations with the most highly qualified firm. The preliminary project description is as follows: Name of Project: County Projects related to 2020 OEMA Disasters Location: Various Athens County Roads Description: Major and Minor Landslide Repair Projects Total Project Budget: Unknown Source of Funding: OEMA, OPWC, and LOCAL Project Schedule: Anticipated dates for CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING/INSPECTION startup/completion: October 15, 2022/Unknown Special Requirements or Restrictions The ATHENS COUNTYENGINEER anticipates contracting with at least one ConstructionEngineering/Inspection Firm.
