The project is for the construction of a 330 self-supporting Multi-Agency Radio Communications System located at 295 W Clay St., Fredericksburg, OH 44627. Bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of their Bid Proposal in a sealed envelope that is clearly marked with the project name. The outside of the sealed envelope shall also include the name and address of the bidder. If a bid proposal is submitted by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid proposal must be enclosed in an outer envelope addressed to the Board and designated as a bid for the project. Bids submitted before the deadline will be read opened and read aloud in the Lounge on the Upper Level of the Wayne County Administration Building, 428 West Liberty Street, Wooster, Ohio 44691, shortly after the deadline. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, bidders are asked to send a maximum of one (1) representative per bidder to the bid opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all irregularities and/or defects, and to accept the bid(s) deemed most beneficial to Wayne County. Until any contract(s) resulting from this Invitation to Bid is/are fully executed by all parties, including, but not limited to, the time between the adoption of any resolution(s) awarding and/or approving any contract(s) and full execution of said contract(s), this Reservation of Rights shall remain in effect. A certified check, cashiers check, or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid submitted fully complete the project by April 30, 2024.
