Chickasaw State Park 15DM Siding - Cabins Furnish materials, labor, equipment, services and supplies to replace windows, vinyl siding, install new hardy board cement siding on ranger residence, cabins 1-8 & 10-17, men's & women's bathhouses, and mess hall at group camp Lake Lajoie on Chickasaw State Park Henderson, Tn 38340 Project to be completed within 30 calendar days after receiving notice to proceed. Contractor is responsible for all measurements needed to perform all duties of the job specifications. Contractor shall remove all debris from job site after work is complete. Work shall be completed at Lake Lajoie group camp as directed by agency. Work shall be performed at a public use, revenue producing facility, hours and days for performance of work to be scheduled with park manager Ron Elder. Contractor shall remove windows and install new double hung, insulated, argon filled low e vinyl replacement windows. Contractor shall not replace windows in residence. Contractor is responsible for the number of windows and measurements before placing order. Agency shall decide color of windows. Contractor shall replace eave and gable vents with new vents. Contractor shall remove existing soffit, fascia, trim, vinyl siding and depose of properly. Shall fasten any lose materials, add insulation as needed and install a house wrap as a moisture barrier around all exterior of cabin. New soffit shall be pre-vented hardy. Contractor shall install new fascia, trim, vertical and horizontal cement hardy board siding with cement hardy board batten to cover seams on vertical hardy board. All cement hardy board shall be primed and two coats of paint, caulked to agency's satisfaction. Contractor shall replace any decayed or damaged wood and fasten loose materials. Contractor shall install a water-resistive barrier and any flashing as needed. Fasteners shall be hot-dipped galvanized nails minimum 2in. Position fasteners 3/8" from panel edges and no closer than 2 in. Away from corners. All board and batten shall be fastened on studs. Install new 3/4 inch thick 16" inch wide hardy boards, 2 1/2 " inch wide batten to exterior of buildings. Install all door and window trim as needed.
