The replacement of an existing suction-lift pump station with new submersible duplex station and other associated improvements. This includes the installation of a new 7-foot diameter, 13-foot deep wetwell, two 25-HP submersible pumps, a 5-foot by 5-foot valve vault, as well as a new electrical rack, 6-inch bypass connection, fencing, and other associated appurtenances. The project also includes the demolition, removal and/or backfill of the existing two 25-HP suction-lift pumps and pad, pump house, 6-foot diameter, 13-foot deep wetwell, and existing fencing. The existing natural gas standby generator will be the one major piece of equipment that will remain in place. Conversion of existing suction-lift pump station to submersible. Installation of 7 ft dia. wetwell, 25-HP pumps, valve vault, electrical panel, fencing, bypass assembly and related work. Abandonment of existing wetwell and removal of pump house and most equipment except for existing generator. There is no schedule prebid meeting at this time. Sealed bids should be clearly marked "Bid Package for Cool Springs Pump Station Upgrades" with the bidder's name, address, and South Carolina Contractor's license number on the outside of the envelope.
