Site work and paving for a civil project in Casper, Wyoming. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
Fee proposals are being requested from qualified engineering consultants to furnish engineering, design, preparation of bid documents and construction management for the rehabilitation and upgrading CR#502 Squaw Creek Road. The project will start at the intersection of CY Avenue (Highway 220) and will go south approximately 1.2 miles... PROJECT DESCRIPTION Squaw Creek Road is showing significant signs of alligator cracking and some longitudinal and transvers cracking throughout. A portion of the road was re-paved in 2021 during a City waterline replacement however; this section of road is showing some breakup. It is anticipated that roadway will need to be evaluated for a variety of potential repair strategies such as milling, full depth milling/recycling, sub base enhancements, overlaying or potential reconstruction along with culvert replacement and potential new installations of culverts. The roadway is narrow and there is not a lot of room for widening in some areas without obtaining construction permits from property owners. The estimated length of roadway is approximately 1.16 miles.
