Proposed Completion of Phase 1 09/30/2022 Proposed Completion of Phase 2 03/30/2022 Deadline for Questions 09/01/2022 Questions are to be submitted using the Question and Answer process on the Procurement Website. Response to questions posted on the Procurement Website will be posted on the website by the District for the benefit of all bidders. A response will be given for questions submitted by end of day September 01, 2022. All bids will remain subject to acceptance for ninety (90) calendar days after the bid opening, but the District may, at its sole discretion, release any bid and return the bid security prior to the end of this period. For Proposals over $50,000, Bidders must submit a bid bond of at least two (2) percent of the total amount of the bid issued by a surety legally authorized to do business in the State of Texas. The bid security shall be a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and furnish any necessary bonds required by the District within ten (10) calendar days after the Contract has been awarded. The bid security shall be forfeited to the District should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and/or fail to provide acceptable bonds. The bid bond shall be made payable to the Tarrant Regional Water District. Contractor shall furnish performance and payment bonds, each in an amount at least equal to the Contract Price as security for the faithful performance and payment of all of Contractor's obligations under the Contract Documents. These bonds shall remain in effect until one (1) year after the date when final payment becomes due. Contractor shall also furnish such other bonds as are required by the Contract Documents. If the surety on any bond furnished by Contractor is declared bankrupt or becomes insolvent or its right to do business is terminated in any state where any part of the Project is located or it ceases to meet the requirements of the terms and conditions specified herein, Contractor shall promptly notify the District, within 20 days after the event giving rise to such notification, provide another bond and surety, both of which shall comply with the requirements specified herein. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES This does not apply to this project. The District is seeking bids to procure services of a contractor to construct 460 LF of concrete trail.
