This project has been awarded to Berschauer Construction. The City will only open and consider bid proposals received through the drop-box labeled "Bid & Proposal Drop Box" or by mail as described below. Do Not Leave Bids at the City Hall Lobby Desk or With City Staff. Bids Must Be Placed Inside the Designated Drop Box in Front of City Hall. In addition to placing sealed bids in the bid and proposal drop-box, Contractors may choose to mail in bids instead. Any bids received after the bid submittal deadline of 10:00 AM, September 14, 2022 will not be accepted. Please note: if you obtain project; plans and specifications through any process other than through registration on Builder's Exchange, you will NOT be added to the list of bidders who receive bid packet addenda and other information sent to those who register as bidders. This project: provides for construction construction of a new water recreation facility, installation of water treatment components and spray features, construction of a mechanical equipment building, new paved pathways, street; frontage improvements, and other site work in accordance with the Contract Documents. The project must be completed by May 1, 2023. This project does not have Federal Aid funding. All prospective bidders should plan to attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting on September 7, 2022, at. 3pm, located at Lions Park, 300 Wilson Street, Olympia, Washington. The City of Olympia. does not discriminate against, any entity based on any status protected by law in consideration for award of a City contract. The prime contractor on a City contract of $50,000 or more shall comply with Olympia's Equal Benefits Ordinance, Olympia Municipal Code Chapter 3.18. All bids must he submitted on the forms furnished for that purpose, and each proposal must be accompanied by bid bond, or certified check made payable to the City of Olympia, in an amount of not less than (5) percent of the total bid amount..
