Project Description: Steel Fabrication Inspection and Testing Services Summary of Scope of Work: The Consultant shall provide Steel Fabrication Inspection and Testing Services for on-call quality assurance materials fabrication, coatings, and welding inspection and non-destructive testing services of structural steel and other metal products at various fabrication plants located throughout the United States and projects located in Georgia. Anticipated Area Class(es) Requirements: There will be NO required area classes for the Prime or Team Anticipated Key Team Leader: American Society for Non-Destructive Testing (ANST) Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) Level III GDOT reserves the right to modify all information provided in this PNA in the forth-coming RFQ at its sole discretion: From the advertisement date of this Public Notice Announcement, through the posting of the RFQ, until successful respondents are selected and the award is made official and announced, firms are not allowed to communicate about this PNA/RFQ Solicitation or scope with any staff of GDOT including the Commissioner and GDOT Board Members, except for the submission of questions as instructed in the upcoming Request for Qualifications, with the contact designated in the PNA/RFQ or as provided by any existing work agreement(s). For violation of this provision, GDOT reserves the right to reject the submittal of the offending respondent. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
