Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Joplin, Missouri. Working plans call for the construction of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; pre-engineered storage facility; and pre-engineered storage facility.

Joplin Schools is soliciting bids for building a 40' x 60' metal storage building. The project shall include a 40'0" x 60'0" stick framed building with 2x6xl0'walls with a 2/12 pitched shed roof. The building will be placed on an existing concrete slab. Metal roof and metal exterior walls with 4 overhead doors, three (3) doors at the size of 9'0" x 7'0" and one (1) door at the size of 12'0" x 7'0" using standard available door sizes. The overhead doors are to be manual lift and insulated. The building needs 1 metal walkthrough door at the size of 3'0'' x 7'0". The school district will provide the LCN closer and Schlage handle set. The building will need to have sprayed-on insulation with an R7 factor applied one inch thick with OSB 4x8x7/16 on interior walls. Contractor will coordinate with the school district electrician to put in receptacles, switches and light boxes prior to the OSB being installed on the interior. Interior partition walls (per attached drawings) are to be installed solid from floor to roof. Awarded contractor will be responsible for disposal of construction debris (dumpster), the dumpster will need to be placed in the street. Guttering to be put on the north side of the building with one downspout on the west end to match the roof color *This project has been postponed until sometime next year.*
