Orange County, North Carolina is releasing this Request for Qualifications (hereafter 'RFQ') seeking responses from qualified consultants to provide engineering services for proposed Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installations or Replacements including humidity control and Electrical Engineering Design Services for various unspecified projects (Project) on an as-needed basis for various maintenance and renovation projects across the County organization. The County is seeking firms whose combination of experience and expertise will provide timely, professional services to the County. The County reserves the right to enter into one or more contracts with any firm selected under this RFQ process. The facility portfolio includes various sizes of HVAC rooftop units, split units, chillers, boilers, and electrical amperages from 100 to 4,000 volts of 120/208 and 277/480. As-needed mechanical and electrical design services for maintenance and renovations span the entire facility portfolio. The County anticipates negotiating contracts with a 2-year term plus two optional oneyear renewal periods.
