Stony Brook Medicine Physical Plant is seeking a contractor to terminally clean all horizontal and reachable vertical surfaces within the Hospital's basement, from here referred to as the N8 level. The N8 level is approximately 100,000 sq. ft. of concrete floor and cinder block wall open space. The area houses most of the main hospital's mechanical ventilation and utility equipment. Work requested would include: mechanical scrubbing, cleaning and degreasing of concrete floors mechanical scrubbing, cleaning and decreasing reachable height of block walls degreasing equipment surfaces removal of trash and debris identified by Physical Plant personnel and discarded in loading dock dumpster area on lower level 1 Work performed is being requested as a Semi-Annual quote for the entire area. In addition, a rate for Time and Materials is also being requested in the event emergent cleaning is needed outside of the semi-annual visits. Quote price is required to encompass Prevailing Wage with Certified Payroll. MWBE/SDVOB Goals in place. Vendor Credentialing also required. A sealed bid will not be held.
