Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Nain, Newfoundland. Design plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a road / highway.
Construction of a new certified airport to replace the existing airport infrastructure. The new site would include: a gravel airstrip (5000 ft long by 100 ft wide); with approx 1300 sq m set aside for future development; and construction of a 12-km access road to connect Nain to the new airport. TIMELINE: Project is conceptual and in feasibility stages. Environmental Impact Assessment is ongoing. Tender and construction are tentative for 2027, pending funding and approvals. Further update may be confirmed fall 2026.
