Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Monroeville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed work includes the following items: Asphalt lot milling, leveling, and resurfacing Concrete curb removal Storm basin expansion and rehabilitation Incidental full depth pavement construction No refund shall be made for the return of these documents. All technical questions are to be directed to Bryson & Yates, Consulting Engineers, LLC, 307 Greentree Road, Sewell, New Jersey 08080. No oral inquiries will l be responded to. Each proposal bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, of which, the amount of the bond or certified check need not exceed $20,000, made payable to the Township of Elk. This project is being funded through NJDOT Local Aid Infrastructure Fund (L.A.I.F.) and the successful bidder shall comply with NJDOT Rules and Regulations. Consent of Surety and Power of Attorney is required for the Performance Bond. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, within ten (10) days after the award, a Surety Corporation Performance Bond or Letter of Credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. All applicable surety bonds or LOC required must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List (Department Circular 570-Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds) and such surety company must be acceptable to the Township Clerk and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action), P.L. 1963. C150 (New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act), and Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. 12101, et. seq). The contractor is further notified that he must comply with P.L. 1977, c. 33, and submit a Disclosure Statement listing Stockholders with his bid. Bidders are required to comply with P.L. 1999 c. 238 Public Works Contractor Registration Act and he and any subcontractors must be registered in accordance with this act. The contractor is also further notified that he must comply with P.L. 2004 c. 57 and submit proof of a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate and submit proof of business registration for any named subcontractors in accordance with the act. This contract is subject to the provisions of the New Jersey Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq. Bids must be prepared on the standard proposal forms provided, in the manner designated therein. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, bearing the name and address of the bidder, and labeled "BID ELK TOWNSHIP MUNICIPAL PARKING LOT RESURFACING" and shall be addressed to the Elk Township Clerk. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/ or all bids, to waive any informality, or to accept the bid, which in its judgment, best serves the interest of the Owner. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
