Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Galesville, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Work includes the following major items: 1. Establishing and maintaining necessary sediment and erosion control practices. 2. Demolition and disposal of an existing 12' wide 170' long two-level wooden pier and platform, 660 sq. ft. of concrete pavers, and 500 sq. ft. of paved pathway. 3. Construct a new 13' wide 170' long two-level wooden pier and platform including railings, firestandpipe, and other appurtenances. 4. Raise the existing wharf bulkhead +-1.3 feet, regrade and repave 1,087 sq. ft. of pathway and bulkhead to comply with ADA requirements. 5. Mill, resurface, and restripe the existing 3,500 sq.ft. parking lot to comply with ADA requirements. 6. Install a 2' wide 21' long stone containment groin at the existing soft canoe launch. 7. Install and re-grade 18 cubic yards of sand at the existing soft canoe launch. 8. Install required landscaping and stabilize all disturbed areas. The check or bid bond will be forfeited to the County as liquidated damages in case the contract, performance bond, and labor and materials bonds are not executed within ten (10) days after receiving the contract for execution.
