Renovation of a municipal facility in Taft, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,323-square-foot municipal facility.

The work is comprised of, but not limited to, in general, the construction of the Needs Center Building including, site preparation, building slab drain, foundation, framing, roofing, insulation, electrical, exterior finish, interior finish, doors (new and replaced), site flatwork, as well as modifications to the existing building at 518 Main Street (front door replacement, remove existing window and frame in opening). Funding of work : This work is funded in part by a CDBG Grant and as a result, Federal requirements apply to this contact and any all subcontracts. It is important to note that this is a Section 3 covered project and that bidders must take appropriate steps to promote and encourage the hiring of Section 3 residents and businesses.
