The City of Victorville is requesting bids for the demolition of the Concessions Building in Doris Davies Park, located at 16300 Pebble Beach Drive, Victorville, CA 92395. The scope of work shall include but is not limited to the demolition of the 900 square foot concessions building, adjacent shade structure, and firepit. The contractor is required to verify all measurements. The Contractor shall comply with all OSHA requirements and safety guidelines associated with the work within this contract. The Contractor is also responsible to procure and post any required permits prior to the commencement of work including but not limited to City of Victorville, Mojave Desert Air Quality Management District. Bid should include labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supplementary services necessary to complete the work. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding. Any information given a prospective bidder concerning a solicitation will be furnished promptly to all prospective bidders as an amendment to the solicitation, if that information is necessary to submit bids or if the lack of it would be prejudicial to other prospective bidders. A bid received from a Contractor who is not represented by a duly authorized agent at the pre-bid meeting and job walk shall be considered non-responsive and rejected from further contract award consideration. The Contractor shall pay the City of Victorville the sum of ONE HUNDRED FIFTY AND 00/100 DOLLARS ($150.00) per calendar day for each and every calendar day delay in finishing the work in excess of TWENTY (20) WORKING DAYS as specified above as Liquidated Damages. The City withholds liquidated damages before the accrual date if the anticipated liquidated damages may exceed the value of the remaining work.
