Renovation of a conference / convention center in Edmonton, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a conference / convention center.
Integrated Project Delivery. Scope of work includes envelope/curtain wall, roofing, elevator, mechanical and electrical upgrades and miscellaneous site and interior renovations. TIMELINE: Tender for construction management services was awarded in spring 2021. Construction of Phase 1A (exterior and civil work) has been completed. Construction of Phase 1B (Canopy, Welcome Centre, Glazing, Landscaping, Ceiling and Stair finishes); Mechanical (Domestic Water, Area Drains); Electrical (Hall Lighting, Stair Lighting, Additional Ext. Power)] is currently underway and expected to be completed by mid-2023. The second phase of the project includes Soffits, remainder of glazing, partitions, acoustics, doors; Mechanical, Electrical and Elevator Controls rehabilitation and replacement, completion targeted for mid-2024.
