Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Montreal, Quebec. Working plans call for the renovation of a 1,437-seat theater / auditorium.
Upgrades, repairs and renovations to the "Imperial Cinema" film demonstration Centre located in the Quartier des Spectacles, in Montreal. The scope of the project includes upgrades to the building to ensure its sustainability. The interventions will also concern the layout and optimization of the venues to increase the number of seats and improve the spectator experience. All specialized equipment will be updated to meet the needs of current creators. The number of seats will be densified to reach a number of 1,437 in order to meet a need for profitability. The project provides for the installation of new washroom blocks, refreshment of the dressing rooms, improvement of the production office and development of a green lounge. With modern sound and lighting equipment for the hall, the Imperial Cinema Centre will be able to maintain collaborations with festivals and special events. TIMELINE: Working drawing are underway. Tender for the general contractor is anticipated in early spring 2026.
