Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Springfield, Massachusetts. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
As of July 10, 2024, there were no RFQ's received, therefore, the project was cancelled. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City is seeking qualifications from qualified Architects/Designers to perform design services for the project entitled; Riverfront Elevator Replacement. The general scope of services shall include designs, specifications and construction documents for the above-mentioned project work, and continuing through the bidding and potential construction administrative phases, including final closeouts and warranties should the project progress to this stage. The Design Fee for Basic Services is expected to be range between 8% and 10% of the project cost ($500,000.00), and will be negotiated- not to exceed $50,000 fifty thousand dollars. This RFQ will be conducted pursuant to M.G.L. Ch. 7C44-57. All questions regarding this RFQ or its specifications must be received by the Office of Procurement by September 7, 2022 at 4:30 P.M. (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com). The City of Springfield goal of twenty (20%) MWBE participation applies. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to waive any informality in and to reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
