The Executive Committee is seeking engineering and geotechnical support in the following areas: design, construction, operation, reclamation, decommissioning, closure and post-closure monitoring of mining activities and infrastructure including heap leach facilities; civil engineering; geotechnical engineering; permafrost, ground ice and ground thermal conditions; informing, evaluating and predicting baseline conditions; and codes, standards, guidelines, practices, adaptive management and best available technology for mitigating adverse effects of mining activities and infrastructure to human health and safety and environmental quality.
