The City of Tacoma (City) / Tacoma Public Utilities (TPU) is soliciting bids to establish one or more contracts with qualified vendors to fulfill the City's needs for railroad track and bridge maintenance. Contract(s) will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) based on price, product quality and availability. A pre-proposal meeting will not be held. Subject line to read: TR22-0267F, Track Maintenance, Vendor Name Questions are due no later than 3pm on the date indicated in the Calendar of Events The Bid Bond must be executed by the person legally authorized to sign the bid, and must be properly signed by the representatives of the surety company unless the bid is accompanied by a certified check. If Bid Bond is furnished, the form furnished by the City must be followed; no variations from the language thereof will be accepted. The amount of the Bid Bond must be not less than 5% of the total amount bid. Original bid bond document must be received in office within 10 days of the submittal deadline.
