D264858, PIN 0BWW22, Nassau, Suffolk Cos., BRIDGE MAINTENANCE REPAIRS - Various Locations, Night Time Work, Bid Deposit: 5% of Bid (~ $200,000.00) , Goals: SDVOB: 6.00% This project proposes to provide maintenance or structural repairs to various bridges elements to maintain their reliability and integrity and help assure the continued safety of the traveling public in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Work will be assigned on an as-needed basis to bridges throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties. In addition, the following bridges will be included in this project: 1. Loop Parkway Drawbridge over Long Creek in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County 2. Meadowbrook State Parkway Drawbridge over Sloop Channel in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County 3. Locust Avenue over NY27 (Sunrise Highway) in the Town of Islip, Suffolk County 4. Hawkins Avenue over Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County 5. Ronkonkoma Avenue Bridge Over Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County. The current status of the project is In Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Fall 2022. Construction is expected to begin in Fall 2022. Construction is expected to be completed in Winter 2024/2025. This project is located in the LONG ISLAND region and includes the following: Counties SUFFOLK Every bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or bank cashier's check payable to the NYS Department of Transportation, in the sum of the amount shown on the proposal title page.
