This project is included in the City of Cincinnati's fiscal yeas 2024-2029 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of November 14, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, funding is allotted to fiscal year 2025. A detailed scope has not yet been released. This project was nominated by WWC due to structural deteriorating condition of sewer segments under buildings. The project will rehabilitate or replace multiple failing pipe segments that are located in a direct proximity to one another. The construction of the project will be broken out into two phases to reduce a risk that is associated with a collapsing sewer directly under a foundation of residential building. Phase 1 will not require easement acquisition, and can be expedited. The segments that are to rehabilitated or replaced are as follows: Phase 1: Replace in a different alignment approximately 238 feet of 20-inch that is located beneath residential structures. Line approximately 908 feet of sewers in Wagner Street, Enslin Street and DeVoite Avenue. Phase 2: Build a new 8-inch sewer to replace existing 398 feet of 12-inch sewer that is located in the backyards of houses on Enslin Street and Wagner Street, which is located under buildings. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
