Installation of approximately 5,150 linear feet of 12-inch water line and approximately 2,825 linear feet of 8-inch water line, including gate valves, fire hydrants, water service reconnections, and other appurtenances along Sheldon Road, US Highway 90 Access Road, and through several private properties. Bids in duplicate copies must be sealed and marked "Sheldon Road and Highway 90 Water Line Improvements" and delivered. Sheldon Road and Highway 90 Water Line Improvements. Bidders must register on this website in order to view and/or download plans and specifications for this project. There is NO charge to view or download documents from the website. The Sheldon Road Municipal Utility District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in the bidding and to accept any bid which it deems advantageous to the District. Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the District, the Engineer, and their respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation or recommendation of any bid. Bids may be held by the Sheldon Road Municipal Utility District for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
