Renovation of a water / sewer project in River Oaks, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
City of River Oaks is now accepting bids for the construction of the River Oaks Water Treatment Plant Solids Contact Clarifier Replacement and Filter Modifications Project. Addition of a sodium permanganate storage, containment, and feed system; replacement of one solids contact clarifier; and replacement of underdrains and media in four multimedia filters. The project generally consists of replacement of existing the existing solids contact clarifier and filter modifications, parts, associated piping, and electrical improvements. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, issued by an acceptable surety, shall be submitted with each bid. The Owner reserves the right, after evaluation of all bids received, to make no recommendation regarding the award of any bid in the event non-responsive, non-conforming, or otherwise unacceptable bids are received, or if budgetary constraints or other unanticipated factors exist. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of ninety (90) days from the date bids are opened. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids received. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete within 240 calendar days
