Generally consisting of the following: Construction of an 80 ft x 62 ft reinforced concrete aeration basin, including access stairway, steel bridge walkways, grating, guardrails, mixing and aeration equipment, and process piping; construction of an internal recycle pump station, including precast concrete vault, pumping equipment, and process piping; existing headworks building modifications and new pump and piping installation; existing electrical and dewatering building modifications and installation of new blowers and aeration piping; electrical, instrumentation, and control system upgrades; site process piping, site grading and drainage, HMA pavement, concrete sidewalks, chain link security fencing, and existing oxidation ditch demolition. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term "iron and steel products" means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete, and Construction Materials, as defined in the Supplemental Conditions of the Construction Contract. The following waivers apply to this Contract: De Minimis, Minor Components, and Pig iron and direct reduced iron.
