This project is included in the City of Cincinnati's fiscal yeas 2024-2029 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of November 14, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, funding is allotted to fiscal year 2026. A detailed scope has not yet been released. This project will provide resources for approximately 811 LF of 10-24" combined sewer on Shaffer Ave. Upstream segments 25308011-25301021 show sections of pipe received PACP scoring of 4A00 and 4700. The alignment runs underneath the home at 2768 Shaffer Avenue, and manhole 25301027 is currently located in the basement of the structure. The system in this area has no known capacity issues. The approved Business Case Evaluation (BCE) that went through stage gate 2 evaluated CIPP lining or replacing the sewer in a different alignment. The recommended alternative moves the alignment out from underneath or near residential houses. This alternative abandons the sewer and manhole 25301027 underneath the home at 2768 Shaffer Avenue. The proposed 490 LF of combined sewer would start with a new manhole located on the 10-inch storm line west of existing manhole 25308014. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
