The work involves the replacement of 6 existing intake screens with 4 Owner provided, new, mechanically cleaned, stainless steel wedge wire screens and 2 caps. The project is located in the Columbia River immediately southwest of the intersection of Road 111 and Court Street in Pasco, Washington. All work shall be completed by MARCH 17, 2023. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed forms and accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond, payable to F.C.I.D., in the amount not less than 5 percent of the Total Bid Price. Bids will only be accepted from those Contractors who are on the Planholders list. Only those Bidders requesting documents from J-U-B Engineers will be added to the Planholders list. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects and to reject any and all Bids. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of Bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any Bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the Contract cannot be awarded within the specified period; the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Owner and Bidder. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
