Renovation of a municipal facility in Phoenix, Arizona. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 19,378-square-foot municipal facility.

This project is located on the 11th floor of the existing Maricopa County Superior Court Central Court Tower, 201 West Jefferson Street, Phoenix, Az 85003. The existing floor plate is 19,378 SF and demolition is 95% complete. The renovation work includes four each: Criminal Courtrooms Jury Deliberation Rooms Judicial Suites Judges Chambers. There is a detention component in the Maricopa County Sheriffs Office (MCSO) holding area. The new design also includes single use Toilet Rooms, Multiple Fixture Restrooms, Evidence Storage and a Public component consisting of Interview Rooms, and Victim Viewing Rooms. The Security Electronics design ties into Court Security in the Lobby of the Central Court Tower and the MCSO Control Room in South Court Tower. The work takes place in an operational court tower and most of the work will need to take place after business hours. Additional items not included in the drawings and specifications include the following: 1. All card readers are Owner Provided/Contractor Installed. 2. A mircroprocessor based space sensor shall be capable of (+/-) 2 degrees F. 3. An asbestos Survey and Lead based paint survey is included in the Appendix of the project Manual. 4. The project requires pre-construction coordination with the Court Equipment Contractor under contract with the Judicial Branch. Contract duration: 300 days
