Site work for a road / highway in Rising Sun, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
City of Rising sun (Owner) will receive sealed bids for the necessary labor, supervision and equipment for the installation of a project known as 2022 Electric Pole Replacements. The Project consists of the replacement of thirty-three (33) 7.2/12.5kV distribution poles, three (3) of which will be new ductile iron poles. All materials shall be furnished by the Owner, except stone material for stone backfilling of poles. All work shall be completed by December 30, 2022. Completion after the deadline will be subject to a $200/day penalty. The Owner reserves the right to amend the specifications and extend the construction schedule as necessary. Bids shall conform to the requirements stated in the Information to Bidders. Bids shall include a completed Indiana State Form 96 accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum total amount of the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Contractor Bond for 100% of the proposal price and a Certificate of Insurance. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities in bidding and bid specifications
