Question Deadline 09/16/2022 at 2:00 PM ET The County provides a specified time for Vendors to ask questions and seek clarification regarding the requirements of the solicitation. All questions or clarification inquiries must be submitted through Periscope S2G by the date and time referenced in the solicitation document (including any addenda). The County will respond to all questions via Periscope S2G. Broward County Highway and Bridge Maintenance Division (HBMD) is seeking a consultant to to provide Broward County with complete signed and sealed plans, specifications, reports, studies for the rehabilitation of the SE 3rd Avenue double-leaf bascule bridge over the New River (bridge #864071) and the SW 4th/7th Avenue (Marshall) double-leaf bascule bridge over the New River (bridge #864072) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Pursuant to Florida Statutes, Section 287.055, Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) applies to this procurement. In a CCNA solicitation, price will not be considered in the final evaluation and ranking of the qualified firm. This solicitation includes participation goals for certified County Business Enterprises (CBE). Refer to Special Instructions and the Office of Economic and Small Business Development Requirements section for additional information. In order to be considered a responsible Vendor for the scope of work set forth in this solicitation, the Vendor must possess a specified license and FDOT pre-qualification at the time of submittal (refer to Special Instructions for requirements). Vendors are encouraged to submit their responses in advance of the due date and time specified in the solicitation document. In the event that the Vendor is having difficulty submitting the solicitation document through Periscope S2G, immediately notify the Purchasing Agent and then contact Periscope S2G for technical assistance. Agreement is anticipated be negotiated based on a maximum not-to-exceed, based on the Countys best interest.
