Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Mitchell, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The Project generally involves the following work: Replacement of existing 90 ft single span steel pony truss bridge with concrete abutments with a single span 130 -0 prestressed concrete girder bridge with concrete integral abutments. Work includes but is not limited to: removal of existing structure, traffic control, excavation, contractor furnished borrow excavation, pile driving, concrete abutment construction, drainage fabric & riprap installation, setting prestressed concrete girders, concrete bridge deck construction, grading, gravel surfacing, approach guardrail, ROW fence, and erosion control. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, and shall include all applicable taxes, as indicated in the Bid Form. 5% Cashier's Check
