Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
Description of project: The work includes renovation of the Lean-To on the east side of Hangar 5 located at JBSA-Randolph, TX. This area is approximately 3,500 square feet. Renovations will include changing the central area into a Centralized Toolkit (CTK) room along with adding a lunch area, an additional office, new communications room, and riser room. Work will also include a complete change of the mechanical and fire protection systems. Electrical work will include new electrical circuits from the existing panels. The Lean-To area will be vacated during the construction period except for the CASS room which is to remain operational during flight operations and incidental related work. The government hazardous material report indicates that all exposed material does not have any hazardous material; but the contractor may find hidden and unforeseen hazardous material during demolition. Work shall be accomplished in accordance with (IAW) the summary of work and specifications (attached). The contractor is responsible for verifying all measurements. But not limited to, please review the specifications for a complete scope of work. Magnitude of Construction: $1M - $5M Prevailing Wages apply. Contract Duration = 340 days *Amendment 01 and 02 have been released.
