Del Monte Drive (From Bella Vista St to Knott Avenue): New 12" sewer The sanitary sewer improvement project (Project) described herein also requires the removal, disposal and abandonment of existing 8-inch VCP sewers. The work will also include connection of existing service laterals to the proposed sewer pipeline; sewer bypassing to maintain sewer service; adjusting existing survey monuments, valve boxes and pull boxes to grade; trench restoration; sheeting, shoring, and bracing; grind and cap paving; curb and gutter removal and replacement; traffic control; implementation of a Water Pollution Control Program and Best Management Practices; restoration of any damaged or obliterated traffic pavement legend, stop bars and painted curbs; sand all appurtenant work as shown on the plans and delineated in the specifications. For the purposes of bid evaluations and fairness to all bidders, the City will evaluate the Total Base Bid Proposal. The lowest responsive responsible Base Bid bidder will be selected.
