The scope of this bid involves furnishing and delivering to the Authority one (1) Scum Separator as manufactured by Walker Process Equipment, Division of McNish Corporation, Aurora, Illinois. The separator shall be designed for efficient separation of a 2-phase skimming feed from clarifier scum collection boxes. The separator shall be designed for efficient separation of a 2-phase skimming feed from clarifier scum collection boxes. The separator shall consist of a separation tank with a chain and flight skimming mechanism that has the means to receive a pumped liquid feed from the clarifier scum collection boxes, convey floating material to a discharge chute, and discharge a relatively scum-free carrying water effluent. The Four Rivers Sanitation Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any part thereof, or to accept any or all bids, or any part thereof, or to waive any formalities in any bids, deemed in the best interest of the Four Rivers Sanitation Authority. The Authority will confirm any award decision in writing, to the successful bidder.
