Renovation of a water / sewer project in Randleman, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The work includes (3) three separate sections, described as follows: 1. Laboratory Building Replacement: Demolition and replacement of the existing 550 SF masonry Laboratory Building, with a new steel structured building including approximately 1,900 Square Foot (SF) of finished space with a new laboratory, 3 offices, a conference room, restroom and shower facilities, breakroom, and a 1,230 SF enclosed garage area, including mechanical and electrical work, etc. 2. New Tertiary Treatment Filtration Disk Filter: Demolition and replacement of the existing Travelling Bridge Tertiary Filtration Unit with a new Disk-Type Fixed Filter System of like capacity including piping, electrical work, controls, cast in place concrete tankage, etc. 3. Blower & Chemical Feed Building Repairs: Demolition of masonry walls around the main bank of blowers, demolition and replacement of extended slab and foundation structure, removal and replacement of existing double doors, new reinforced masonry walls on three (3) sides of blower room, new cast-in-place concrete roof over extended area, mechanical and electrical work, etc. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of North Carolina for the type of work required. Bids will be received on a unit price basis as described in the Contract Documents. The work is to commence within 15 days after the Date of Contract. Completion of the work is as required in the contract documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond as security for the faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the total Bid must accompany each Bid. No Bid may be withdrawn within a period of 60 days after the date fixed for opening Bids. The Owner reserves the right to select alternatives, to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional Bids.
