Texas A&M Transportation Institute is requesting proposals from interested, respected, licensed, and experienced firms to subcontract with the Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI) to complete deliverables associated with a contract between TTI and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Aviation Division. The selected firm (or team of firms) will complete the following three tasks: 1. Develop planning level maintenance and rehabilitation (M&R) plans for approximately 90 general aviation airports in Texas per year and approximately to 270 airports over the life of the project. This task requires the use of a licensed professional engineer. 2. Create a resident project representative (RPR) training course for RPRs to be employed on TxDOTfunded projects where TxDOT serves as the agent. o Deliver a pilot RPR training course and then deliver four finalized RPR training courses. 3. Create a TxDOT Aviation Construction Specifications book. By submitting responses, each respondent certifies that it understands this RFP and has full knowledge of the scope, nature, quality, and quantity of the work to be performed, the detailed requirements of the services to be provided, and the conditions under which the services are to be performed. Each respondent also certifies that it understands that all costs relating to preparing and responding to this RFP will be the sole responsibility of the Respondent.
