The Work: The Work shall include all labor, equipment, and material to construct the Valve Vault Installation of Primary Clarifiers 1 and 3 at the Moore County Water Pollution Control Plant as shown on the drawings and specified herein. Hardware and appurtenances as needed to complete the installation. Drawings: Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) Valve Vault Installation sealed by C. Brian Patnode, PE. Completion Time: 120 Calendar Days from the Notice to Proceed. Additionally, a Notice to Proceed with ordering materials will be issued following contract execution. Liquidated Damages: $1,000 per day after Notice to Proceed is issued for onsite construction. Contractor Qualifications: Contractor shall possess a NC General Contractor license. Contractor shall have completed at least 5 similar projects. Insurance: Contractor shall maintain insurance in the amounts as specified in the bid package. Warranty Period: Warranty Period Shall be 12 months from the date of substantial completion. Contractor Superintendent: Provide a full-time onsite Superintendent throughout the length of the construction. Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum for each item of work as shown on the Bid Form. Damage to Existing Facilities: Contractor shall repair any damage caused by them to the satisfaction of the Owner as specified in the General Conditions.
