Site work and paving for a road / highway in Apex, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project contributes funds toward intersection improvements for the proposed Felton Grove High School (2025 anticipated opening) that would not otherwise be constructed because they are beyond the required improvements for Wake County Public School System (WCPSS). Without this project, potential capacity and safety issues would exist at multiple access points to the school. Funding is being prioritized at this time due to an agreement with WCPSS and to ensure the expected 2025 payment is funded. As of November 11, 2024, this project is listed in the Town of Apex Fiscal Year 2025-2029 CIP. Further information regarding design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
