PURPOSE:
The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms
to provide 2x2x6 concrete barrier blocks and to provide delivery of the blocks, if required by VDOT, to the
Buckingham AHQ located at 11655 W. James Anderson Hwy, Buckingham, VA 23921.
CONTRACT PERIOD: Date of award through 30 days.
II. QUESTIONS REGARDING THIS INVITATION FOR BID:
Any questions regarding this invitation for bid shall be addressed Robert Dowdle at
Robert.Dowdle@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued
as a result of any questions or other matters raised. SPECIFICATIONS / CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS:
The purpose of this Quick Quote is to award a contract to one (1) qualified vendor to provide 2x2x6 concrete
barrier blocks and to provide delivery of the blocks, if required by VDOT, to the Buckingham AHQ located at
11655 W. James Anderson Hwy, Buckingham, VA 23921.
Lot 1 - Quantity 292 - 2x2x6 concrete barrier blocks.
Lot 2 - Delivery of the 292 blocks from the shipment point of the lot 1 blocks to the Buckingham AHQ located
at 11655 W. James Anderson Hwy, Buckingham, VA 23921. ***Delivery may not be needed/awarded
depending on location of supplier***

Bailey) 24 hours in advance. No deliveries on Holidays. AHQ hours are: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
